This coffee shop blends countryside charm with a modern café feel, creating a welcoming stop for locals, visitors, and anyone looking through reviews for a comfortable place to unwind. The location itself adds to the experience, especially if you enjoy quiet surroundings paired with quality drinks and a laid-back setting.

The menu keeps things simple but satisfying, focusing on well-made coffee and comforting treats. A smooth Latte is one of the highlights here, served with rich flavor and a balanced finish that works perfectly for slow mornings or casual catch-ups. Coffee lovers also tend to enjoy the Cortado, which delivers a stronger espresso taste without feeling too heavy. Alongside the drinks, the Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake stands out as a favorite. It is light, moist, and pairs naturally with the café’s coffee selection.

What makes the experience feel more memorable is how the venue shifts effortlessly from daytime coffee shop to relaxed social space. Guests can enjoy a Mojito or an Espresso Martini while settling into the rustic surroundings, and the onsite bar gives the place an easygoing edge that feels different from many countryside cafés. The combination of coffee, cocktails, wine, and homemade-style cakes gives the menu a broader appeal without losing the cozy café identity.

The service style also adds to the comfort of the visit. Takeout is available for those stopping by briefly, while guests who prefer to stay can enjoy the calm atmosphere indoors. Dogs allowed inside is another detail that regular visitors appreciate, especially for weekend outings around the farm area. Debit cards are accepted, making everything convenient and straightforward.

Among nearby coffee shop locations in the Driffield area, this spot feels especially inviting because it balances casual dining, quality drinks, and countryside character without trying too hard. Many reviews mention the friendly environment and the easy pace of the place, which matches the overall experience perfectly. Whether someone visits for a quick coffee, a slice of cake, or evening drinks with friends, the atmosphere consistently feels warm, genuine, and relaxed.

What customers say?

“ My husband discovered the Coffee Barn whilst out cycling and was very impressed, so we decided to use it as a starting point for our morning walk. First of all, it’s huge with lots of space, a variety of seating arrangements including settees and it’s light bright and airy. In addition to the cafe there are also works by local artists and local produce for sale. It’s definitely dog friendly and even has some doggy items on the menu. Expect to be joined by a chicken or two during your visit! When we arrived we had coffee but managed to resist the delicious cakes on display as we planned to return for lunch. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. During coffee we noticed other customers eating and noted the very generous portion sizes so our lunchtime giant bacon butties (hot rolls) came as no surprise! I asked for gluten free bread and was very impressed to get 2 good slices of quality gluten free bread which was comparable to the breadcake my husband had. The staff are lovely and service is quick and efficient. This is definitely somewhere we will be revisiting in the near future. Highly recommended! ”

“ After exploring part of the wold Rangers way we stopped off here to re fuel. Super dog friendly with plenty of space even for big dogs! Blankets are provided so your four legged friend has somewhere comfy to relax. The food arrived quickly and was very delicious. The portions are very generous so I couldn't finish even though I enjoyed it. Licensed so you can enjoy a draft beer with your meal plus a small shop which does stock some treats for your dog. Staff were friendly as were the two resident dogs we met. Well worth a visit. ”

“ Booked as a campervan for two nights on the camping field, , Friday and Saturday in April. Friends in 3 other vans were due on the Saturday but Friday was a solo camp for me. The coffee barn was closed when I arrived, although Juli was still pottering around in there so I let her know that I’d arrived and they I’d found where everything was (facilities are well signed anyway) got settled in for the night in the far corner of the field. Saturday morning I met Jonathan as he was doing the rounds and came to check I had everything, other than that you get left alone to relax without the usual listing of rules that you get with some camp sites. Fire pits are available to hire and whilst at first may seem expensive at £25, there is a drybox full of wood to just help yourself to whatever you need, The field is very well kept and mowed in lovely lines , you can park/pitch where you choose, the only rules being to respect others. The facilities are BRILLIANT! Eco long drop toilets might not be for everyone but make perfect sense at this location in the small woods, and the showers!!!!!!! 3 lovely HOT and fast showers , two of which have no roof, showering in the trees is the best experience. The coffee barn is amazing too, we had a couple of pints of Wolds Way beer and a few nibbles, ordered at the bar and the attentive staff brought them to the table. Our “table” being a snuggly chesterfield couch and chairs in the sun under the glass roof section. We had an amazing time, just the right amount of freedom and professional, friendly hospitality. Thanks Juli & Jonathan. You have a real gem of a place. We will be regulars ”
